Pre‑loved book donations in Weybridge raise support for Sam Beare Hospice

Earlier this year, our colleagues from Weybridge organised a book drive, collecting pre‑loved books for Sam Beare Books in support of the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care charity.

The initiative raises funds for the charity, helping them continue providing care for thousands of patients and their carers each year, with specialist holistic support for people living with complex life‑limiting and terminal illnesses.

Over several weeks, our colleagues gathered three boxes of pre‑loved books and delivered them to the shop.

Associate Laura Lyon, who led the activity, explained what motivated her to get involved:

We wanted to support a local charity, and the Sam Beare Hospice Bookshop is right in the heart of Weybridge, raising funds to provide vital care and support to patients and their carers.
