What you can expect
We use the full breadth of expertise in our business, not just those around us.
That means that our people don’t protect work, they share it. This allows them to bring in the right people across locations, disciplines and experience levels.
The focus is on drawing on the collective expertise of our nationwide team to deliver the best outcome for clients.
Our professionals are free from the operational burden of running a business that you often find elsewhere. This frees them to focus on spending time with clients and staying close to the work.
Clients work with people that they know and can get hold of, with in-person meetings where they add value and no hiding behind emails.
We don’t just cover the UK’s regions – we’re part of them.
Understanding, and being deeply invested in, our clients’ world is part of delivering good advice. That’s why we encourage all colleagues to use four working hours every month to support a cause they care about.

Common questions about working at Knights
When you join us, you’ll be working in a state-of-the-art environment where you can perform at your best – and curate a career path that’s as unique as you are.
We’re one team of two halves: Client Services, and Business Services. Both are equally integral to our business, working in tandem to enable our business to perform at its best. Whatever your area of expertise, if you’re motivated to work collaboratively, build relationships, and deliver the highest standards of service, this is the place to be.
As our business grows, so do the opportunities. From our suite of colleague benefits to investing in training, we’re always looking for ways to give back to our people – and equip you with the tools to develop your career with us.
We’re the UK’s only collaboative professional services team, with a structure that allows our professionals to collaborate and focus on deliveing great service. That means spending time together, drawing on our nationwide team and being in the room with clients when they need us.
For us, building trust in-person is foundational to our culture – but that doesn’t mean that you have to stay in one place.
We actively encourage our people to travel to different locations, meet their colleagues throughout the country, and get out into the communities to build meaningful client relationships, face-to-face.
While we’ll always be an in-person business, we trust our people to manage their time as they see fit – with the flexibility to do what’s needed, when it’s needed.
We believe professional services works best as a team sport, so our professionals collaborate and spend their time on what matters: delivering great service for clients. You don’t achieve that by meticulously accounting for every minute of your day.
Of course, we want our people to value their time and turn work into cash, but our culture values contribution over individual targets.
If people are feeling motivated, inspired, and, crucially, working well together, the results will follow.
You’re bored of bureaucracy and just want to do your job – no strings, no fuss, no distractions. Sound familiar?
Here, we do things differently – but being a PLC is only part of the story.
For us, our true point of difference came when we separated the ownership and management of our business back in 2012.
Moving beyond the constraints of the partnership model, frees our people up to focus firmly on spending time with clients and staying close to the work.
