Paul Simpson completes 5K Tough Mudder in support of Children’s Bereavement Centre
Corporate Partner Paul Simpson took part in a 5K Tough Mudder as part of Breeze Corporate Finance’s Accumulator Challenge, raising £1,620 for The Children’s Bereavement Centre.
The Accumulator Challenge brings organisations together to raise £1,000 for bereavement support across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, and Paul chose the 5K obstacle course as his contribution to the initiative.
Tough Mudder puts participants through demanding routes built around teamwork. With more than 12 obstacles and three miles of mud, hills and uneven ground, the course pushes people throughout.
Based in Newark, The Children’s Bereavement Centre supports young people and their families when someone close to them has died or has a terminal illness.
The £1,620 raised contributes to specialist one‑to‑one bereavement support. With £200 funding an eight‑week programme for a single child, Paul’s fundraising will help around eight children access individual sessions.
