Supporting palliative care at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice
Earlier this year, Trainee Solicitor Adam Schonbeck teamed up with colleagues from different areas of the business to support their local Sue Ryder Hospice – Leckhampton Court, assisting with gardening, upkeep and maintenance across the grounds.
Set in a Grade II listed estate spanning 14-and-a-half acres of land, the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice is the sole inpatient unit for specialist palliative care in Gloucestershire.
Adam noted that the charity holds personal meaning for him, following the care Sue Ryder provided to his nan and the support they extend to families and carers.
Sue Ryder cared for my nan in the latter stages of her life, offering palliative care, bereavement support, and wider support. They not only support the person who’s suffering from the illness – but also the families, friends, relatives, and co-workers – anyone who needs that support.
