Adam Dowdney supports Barnardo’s through £6,300 Golf Day fundraiser

Partner Adam Dowdney hosted Barnardo’s Annual Golf Day at Newbury & Crookham Golf Club, raising funds for Barnardo’s. The event brought together 24 groups of local professionals and clients for a morning of golf and fundraising.

Barnardo’s supports children and young people facing challenging circumstances, offering practical help, emotional guidance and safe spaces where they can build confidence. Their services range from family support and mental health programmes to safeguarding, fostering and adoption.

The Golf Day began with breakfast before a 9am shotgun tee‑off, with play running across staggered tees to keep the course moving. After the round, organisers awarded prizes for overall team performance, individual score, longest drive and nearest the pin.

The event raised £6,300, giving Barnardo’s additional resources to strengthen its programmes and reach more families who rely on their support.
